Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TM2D2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TM2D2 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher TM2D2 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TM2D2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

LUAD, UCEC, and GBM are the cancer types where TM2D2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
