Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TM2D1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TM2D1 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), where higher TM2D1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TM2D1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SCLC show a favorable association.
GBM, BLCA, and SCLC are the cancer types where TM2D1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
