Across TCGA patient cohorts, TKT mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 25 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible TKT-associated genes across cancer lineages are eIF4E, C-Raf, and 14-3-3_beta. Each is linked with TKT in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TKT-to-partner and partner-to-TKT results are reported.
