TIMP2

protein abundance — cross-omics
Cross-omicsPROTEIN-MS → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, TIMP2 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 12,730 significant associations in total. BRCA shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible TIMP2-associated genes across cancer lineages are MEDAG, SFRP4, and ASPN. Each is linked with TIMP2 in more than 9 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TIMP2-to-partner and partner-to-TIMP2 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, TIMP2 versus MEDAG in OV, with a Pearson correlation of 0.61.

protein abundance associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (TIMP2→partner) and Y-score (partner→TIMP2) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
