Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TIMM50 RNA is linked to patient survival in 28 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated TIMM50 data layer compared with 6 for mutation status and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in mesothelioma (MESO), where higher TIMM50 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TIMM50 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as GBM and READ show a favorable association.
MESO, ACC, and LIHC are the cancer types where TIMM50 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
