Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TIMM50 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TIMM50 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher TIMM50 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TIMM50 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LSCC and PDAC show a favorable association.

CCRCC, HNSC, and LSCC are the cancer types where TIMM50 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
