Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TIMM44 RNA is linked to patient survival in 25 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated TIMM44 data layer compared with 5 for mutation status and 7 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where higher TIMM44 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TIMM44 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SCLC and CESC show a favorable association.

KICH, UVM, and LGG are the cancer types where TIMM44 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
