Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TIMM21 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TIMM21 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher TIMM21 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TIMM21 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
COAD, SKCM, and UCEC are the cancer types where TIMM21 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
