Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TIMD4 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TIMD4 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher TIMD4 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TIMD4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA show a favorable association.
LUSC, COAD, and ESCA are the cancer types where TIMD4 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
