Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TIFA mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TIFA data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher TIFA mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TIFA expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and PDAC show a favorable association.

LUAD, HNSC, and PDAC are the cancer types where TIFA mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
