Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, THSD4 RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated THSD4 data layer compared with 9 for mutation status and 5 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher THSD4 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated THSD4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BRCA and SCLC show a favorable association.

BRCA, SCLC, and KIRP are the cancer types where THSD4 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
