Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, THOP1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated THOP1 data layer compared with 29 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher THOP1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated THOP1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA show a favorable association.
HNSC, OV, and LUAD are the cancer types where THOP1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
