Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, THOC7 RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated THOC7 data layer compared with 3 for mutation status and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher THOC7 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated THOC7 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD and LUSC show a favorable association.
LIHC, KICH, and ACC are the cancer types where THOC7 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
