Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, THOC2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated THOC2 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 10 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), where higher THOC2 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated THOC2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and LSCC show a favorable association.

PDAC, LUAD, and CCRCC are the cancer types where THOC2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
