Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, THEM5 RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated THEM5 data layer compared with 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC), where higher THEM5 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated THEM5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SCLC and SKCM show a favorable association.

SCLC, SKCM, and ACC are the cancer types where THEM5 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
