Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, THEG Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated THEG data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher THEG Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated THEG expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
COAD and LUAD are the cancer types where THEG Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
