Across TCGA cell cohorts, THEG RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 1,044 significant associations in total. BONE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible THEG-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Regulation of syncytium formation by plasma membrane fusion, Negative regulation of DNA-templated transcription initiation, and Negative regulation of transcription initiation by RNA polymerase II. Each is linked with THEG in more than 6 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both THEG-to-partner and partner-to-THEG results are reported.
