Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, THBS1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 10 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated THBS1 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher THBS1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated THBS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and LGG show a favorable association.

ESCA, UCEC, and SKCM are the cancer types where THBS1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
