Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, THAP11 RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated THAP11 data layer compared with 3 for mutation status and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher THAP11 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated THAP11 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and KIRC show a favorable association.
LIHC, UCEC, and ACC are the cancer types where THAP11 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
