Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TGM5 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 11 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TGM5 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC), where higher TGM5 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TGM5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as STAD and SKCM show a favorable association.
SCLC, ESCA, and UCS are the cancer types where TGM5 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
