Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TFG Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TFG data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in prostate adenocarcinoma (PRAD), where higher TFG Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TFG expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
PRAD and BLCA are the cancer types where TFG Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
