Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TFB1M Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TFB1M data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher TFB1M Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TFB1M expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LIHC, SKCM, and UCEC are the cancer types where TFB1M Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
