Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TFAP4 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TFAP4 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher TFAP4 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TFAP4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as GBM and LUAD show a favorable association.
UCEC, GBM, and LUAD are the cancer types where TFAP4 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
