TFAP2E

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → PROTEIN-RPPAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, TFAP2E mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 16 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible TFAP2E-associated genes across cancer lineages are MEK1, MSH2, and Myosin-IIa. Each is linked with TFAP2E in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TFAP2E-to-partner and partner-to-TFAP2E results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, MEK1 grouped by TFAP2E-low versus TFAP2E-high in UCEC.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (TFAP2E→partner) and Y-score (partner→TFAP2E) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
