Across TCGA cell cohorts, TFAM RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 3,876 significant associations in total. BLOOD_Lymphoma shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible TFAM-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are DNA replication initiation, Lagging strand elongation, and DNA strand elongation. Each is linked with TFAM in more than 18 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TFAM-to-partner and partner-to-TFAM results are reported.
