Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TET3 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TET3 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 11 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), where higher TET3 mass-spec protein is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TET3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LSCC and UCEC show a favorable association.
LSCC, UCEC, and HNSC are the cancer types where TET3 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
