Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TERF1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TERF1 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher TERF1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TERF1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUAD are the cancer types where TERF1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
