Across TCGA patient cohorts, TERF1 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 7 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible TERF1-associated genes across cancer lineages are 14-3-3_beta, ER-alpha_pS118, and PRAS40_pT246. Each is linked with TERF1 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TERF1-to-partner and partner-to-TERF1 results are reported.
