Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TEPSIN mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TEPSIN data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 9 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher TEPSIN mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TEPSIN expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUAD, PDAC, and HNSC are the cancer types where TEPSIN mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
