Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TENT4A RNA is linked to patient survival in 28 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated TENT4A data layer compared with 7 for mutation status and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher TENT4A RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TENT4A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and SKCM show a favorable association.
KIRP, HNSC, and ACC are the cancer types where TENT4A RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
