Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TELO2 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 16 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of TELO2’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where TELO2 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types TELO2 is over-expressed in tumor.

COAD, HNSC, and KIRP are the cancer types where TELO2 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
