Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TEKT5 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TEKT5 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher TEKT5 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TEKT5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
KIRC, LUAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where TEKT5 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
