Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TEK Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TEK data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher TEK Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TEK expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
UCEC, THCA, and PRAD are the cancer types where TEK Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
