Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TEDDM2P RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of TEDDM2P’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where TEDDM2P RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types TEDDM2P is over-expressed in tumor.
LIHC, BRCA, and LUSC are the cancer types where TEDDM2P tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
