Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TECTA Mutation is linked to patient survival in 9 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TECTA data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher TECTA Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TECTA expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as READ and BLCA show a favorable association.
ESCA, LUSC, and DLBC are the cancer types where TECTA Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
