Across TCGA patient cohorts, TECTA protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 15,080 significant associations in total. HNSC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible TECTA-associated genes across cancer lineages are SLC16A1, AKR7A2P1, and SLC16A1-AS1. Each is linked with TECTA in more than 9 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TECTA-to-partner and partner-to-TECTA results are reported.
