Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TECR RNA is linked to patient survival in 25 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated TECR data layer compared with 3 for mutation status and 4 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher TECR RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TECR expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUSC and THYM show a favorable association.

BLCA, OV, and LIHC are the cancer types where TECR RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
