Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TECR Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TECR data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher TECR Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TECR expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LIHC, ACC, and UCEC are the cancer types where TECR Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
