Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TEAD4 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TEAD4 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher TEAD4 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TEAD4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LUAD, LIHC, and UCEC are the cancer types where TEAD4 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
