Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TDP1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TDP1 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher TDP1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TDP1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as STAD and LUSC show a favorable association.
HNSC, ACC, and STAD are the cancer types where TDP1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
