Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TCTN3 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TCTN3 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), where higher TCTN3 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TCTN3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as GBM show a favorable association.
PDAC, LUAD, and GBM are the cancer types where TCTN3 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
