Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TCL1B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TCL1B data layer compared with 16 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher TCL1B Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TCL1B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
KIRP, LUAD, and SKCM are the cancer types where TCL1B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
