Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TCL1A mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TCL1A data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher TCL1A mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TCL1A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and LSCC show a favorable association.

LUAD, HNSC, and LSCC are the cancer types where TCL1A mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
