Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TCF21 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TCF21 data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC), where higher TCF21 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TCF21 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SCLC, COAD, and BLCA are the cancer types where TCF21 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
