Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TCERG1P2 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 1 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of TCERG1P2’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where TCERG1P2 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types TCERG1P2 is over-expressed in tumor.
ESCA are the cancer types where TCERG1P2 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
