Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TCEAL7 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TCEAL7 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher TCEAL7 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TCEAL7 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, LUAD, and LIHC are the cancer types where TCEAL7 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
