Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TCEAL4 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TCEAL4 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher TCEAL4 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TCEAL4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and CCRCC show a favorable association.

HNSC, UCEC, and LUAD are the cancer types where TCEAL4 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
