Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TCEA2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TCEA2 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma (OV), where higher TCEA2 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TCEA2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as OV and LUAD show a favorable association.
OV, LUAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where TCEA2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
