Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TBXA2R Mutation is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TBXA2R data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in thymoma (THYM), where higher TBXA2R Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TBXA2R expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
THYM, SCLC, and PRAD are the cancer types where TBXA2R Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
