Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TBX21 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TBX21 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma (OV), where higher TBX21 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TBX21 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
OV, LGG, and HNSC are the cancer types where TBX21 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
